Otto Engineering builds Streams, Habitat, and OttoVerb — standalone applications and audio plug-ins. Our apps run entirely on your device and collect no personal data. This website does not use analytics, cookies, or tracking of any kind.
What the apps collect
Nothing. Streams, Habitat, and OttoVerb run fully offline. They do not phone home, do not include analytics or telemetry, do not require an account, and do not transmit any audio, project files, or usage information to us or to any third party.
Any audio you record, generate, or save stays on your device. License checks, if any, are local. Crash reports, if you choose to share them through the operating system, are handled by Apple or your platform vendor under their respective privacy terms — we do not receive copies.
What this website collects
Nothing beyond what your browser sends to any web server. We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers. No cookies are set. Server access logs may be retained briefly by our hosting provider (Netlify) for security and abuse prevention; we do not read or aggregate them.
Support inquiries
If you contact us through the support form, the information you submit (your name, email address, and message) is processed by Netlify Forms and delivered to us so we can reply. We use it only to respond to your inquiry and do not share it with anyone.
Children
Our products are not directed to children. Because we collect no data, no information about children is gathered or stored.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected on this page rather than communicated individually, since we have no contact information for users.
