Generative Drone Synthesizer

Habitat

Eight concurrent sound engines modeled on the natural world — wind, water, birds, insects, thunder, rain, aurora, and ice — layered into evolving soundscapes.

Engines

Eight natural sound engines

Each engine generates a different class of natural sound. Layer and blend them to build environments.

Wind

Filtered noise with spectral shaping, gust modulation, and variable tilt.

Water

Flow and turbulence modeling with resonant body size and ripple physics.

Birds

Synthesized calls with pitch variation, chirp speed, and flock density.

Insects

Swarm synthesis with buzz frequency, pulse rate, and chorus detuning.

Thunder

Storm modeling with rumble depth, crack transients, and distance simulation.

Rain

Stochastic drop generation with variable density, size, surface, and splash.

Aurora

Harmonic drone layers with slow drift, shimmer modulation, and brightness.

Ice

Cracking and resonant stress modeling with thickness and decay control.

Evolution

Organic, autonomous change

Parameters shift continuously with configurable rate, density, complexity, warmth, and drift. Engines gradually transform over time, creating soundscapes that never loop.

Macros

Hands-on performance control

A single XY pad drives two macro axes — each with an unbounded list of parameter routes at any depth. Shift-drag to record a motion loop up to 30 seconds, then let it play the instrument for you.

Unlimited Routes

X and Y each drive as many parameters as you like, with per-route bipolar depth from −100% to +100%.

Learn to Route

Arm a Learn button on X or Y, then touch any slider anywhere in the plugin — the next gesture becomes a route.

Motion LoopsNew

Hold Shift and draw a path on the pad — up to 30 seconds of recorded motion plays back indefinitely, hands-free.

One gesture, every parameter

  • Arm Learn under X or Y — an amber indicator confirms.
  • Move any slider in any panel to bind it to that axis with bipolar depth.
  • Drag the pad to sweep every route on both axes at once.
  • Shift-drag to record a motion loop (up to 30s); release Shift and it plays back indefinitely. The × clears the loop.
Effects

Studio-quality processing

Delay, reverb, and character shaping applied to the combined engine output.

Delay

Flange, chorus, and delay ranges with digital, analog, and tape character modes.

Reverb

18 algorithmic presets spanning plate, hall, cathedral, shimmer, and infinite wash.

Character

Drive, compression, and tone shaping at the output stage.
